The emergence of this project is based on creating awareness among the people and the BMC management of the local garbage conditions of the slum where most of the time people live in unhygienic conditions. This project aims to changing the attitudes of people to garbage.

This is a joint venture of Garbage Concern Welfare Society and Vodafone. Garbage concern Welfare Society initially surveys the entire locality where the venue for the program is decided. An understanding is gathered about the waste disposal and waste collection pattern.
The Awareness is done through Street play is done on the how carelessly we handle garbage and our attitudes toward waste creation.

People are identified who have contributed to keeping the surrounding clean so as to encourage and build this practice in the minds of the people. Till now we have done this project in 64 different pockets of different slums.
